Job Description:
Our client, a leading London university, is seeking Exam Invigilators for the January exam period, reporting to a Lead Invigilator.
This is an on-site role based in East London at the ExCel Centre. The exams will take place between Monday, 6th January, and Friday, 10th January. Working hours will start at 7:30am and run until approximately 7pm each day, with some days finishing earlier.
Duties of an Exam Invigilator
*Ensure that examinations are conducted in line with regulatory requirements.
*Address student queries and manage examination irregularities as they arise.
*Assist with the preparation and collection of exam scripts.
*Ensure students exit the exam hall in a quiet and orderly fashion.
To be considered for this role:
*Previous experience is not required, but candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to proactively deliver a seamless experience.
*The role requires being on your feet for extended periods, so candidates must be comfortable with this.
*A good command of written and spoken English is essential, alongside strong oral and written communication skills.
You will need to be available and able to travel to ExCel (East London) for a 7.30am start on the days required, please do check this before applying, along with being available for the week of Monday 6th January.
