4 Posts, Part-Time (16 hours per post), 1 Post, Part-Time (15 hours) Permanent
THE POST - Cleaner
Working within the Campus Services directorate based at the University of the West of Scotland’s Paisley Campus you will participate in the day-to-day programme of cleaning services to ensure that the campus facilities are maintained in a clean, safe and hygienic condition. You will be part of a professional support service and work alongside a friendly team.
The successful candidate should have the following:
*No formal qualification is required, however, previous experience working within a commercial / industrial cleaning environment would be desirable
*A basic understanding of health and safety requirements within the workplace as training will be provided
*Ability to demonstrate working in a customer focused role with an emphasis on providing quality service
*Customer service skills
*Ability to work in a team and on your own.
Hours of duty are as follows:
*4 x Posts 6-10am Monday & Tuesday to Friday 6-9am
*1 x Post 7am - 10am Monday & Tuesday to Friday 6-9am
*A degree of flexibility is also required to meet the needs of the business.
