ROLE- Test Technician

LOCATION- Buckinghamshire

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £30,000-£38,000 per annum, depending on experience 

My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Test Technician join their team in Buckinghamshire on a permanent basis.   

The Test Technician will ideally have the following attributes: *Experienced in a technical and hands-on Engineering position 
*Knowledge of compliance and testing 
*A background in Manufacture
*Excellent attention to detail
*Able to read engineering drawings and BOMs
*Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
*Proficient using MS Office
*Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
*Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team

The Test Technician role will involve: *Mechanical testing and manufacture of a variety of components and equipment 
*Developing new and existing products 
*Handling compliance and test specifications 
*Working to procedures and instructions
*Assisting the quality team with functional and visual inspection
*Working to procedures and compliance standards
*Testing, fault-finding and repair
*Using CAD to produce technical drawings, reading, annotating, creating jigs, fixtures, and testing apparatus
*Working both independently and in a team
*Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
