Job Description:
We are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s most successful and fastest-growing independent (Chartered) insurance brokerages.
Due to continued growth, our client is currently looking to employ a Professional Indemnity Insurance Broker.
The salary is highly competitive and negotiable.
Salary: up to £65k plus (depending on experience) plus extensive benefits and Car Allowance

The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated & driven PI Broker to join the existing team. You’ll be based at our clients Bristol office, and they offer hybrid working. Reporting to the Branch Director, the main purpose of the role is to broker renewal & new business Professional Indemnity to the market in Bristol & surrounding areas, spotting and maximising opportunities with existing and new clients.
Although there is some existing book of business to look after, the aim is growth and to generate new business. Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:
*Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions, with purpose to secure renewal and/or new business
*Identify and pursue cross-selling, up-selling and similar opportunities. Utilise all leads provided to you by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase the quote volume.
*Achieve or exceed agreed volume of Quotes/Sales/Income generated from all marketing sources including own personal prospecting activity.
*To understand client’s business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.
*To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA
About you
As one of our clients Brokers, you’ll be a ’go- getter’ type of person, being proactive and constantly prospecting for new clients. You’ll be able to build & strengthen relationships easily, doing client visits and staying in regular communication. You’ll have a passion for providing solutions- and a flair for spotting opportunities that will help existing and new clients going forward. You will also be or have:
*Insurance industry background in Professional Indemnity (PI)
*Passion and flair for securing new business, coupled with strong history of retaining clients (essential)
*Great customer service and communication skills
*Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
*Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance and sales
