Job Description:
Location: Doncaster Borough
Department: Adults Health & Well Being
Role Overview: Join our team to help residents access the Home Alarm Service, allowing vulnerable individuals to stay safely at home using assistive technology.
Key Responsibilities:
*Work on a flexible rota, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
*Follow safety and customer care procedures.
*Use IT systems for equipment installation and maintenance.
*Respond to telecare alarms and provide emergency assistance.
*Install, test, and maintain assistive technology in homes.
*Coordinate with emergency services when needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
*QCF Level 2 or relevant Social Care qualification.
*Experience in health and social care with adults.
*Understanding of service users’ physical, social, and emotional needs.
*Good communication skills and ability to write reports.
*Knowledge of Dementia, Safeguarding Adults, and Health & Safety.
*Valid UK diving licence and ability to travel around the borough.
*Fluent in English for customer interactions.
