Head of Maths

Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and manage the Maths department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
*Develop and implement innovative and effective teaching strategies.
*Support and mentor Maths teachers, promoting professional development.
*Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing interventions where necessary.
*Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall educational experience.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
*Proven experience in a subject lead or similar leadership role is highly desirable.
*Experience working in SEMH, Pupil Referral Units (PRU), Alternative Provision, or with challenging behaviour is essential.
*Strong commitment to inclusive education and the ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
