Foundational Platforms is a global team within the Automation Platforms function, responsible for the strategy and development of the core cross-technology software toolsets of Information Technology (IT) Service Management and IT Asset Management. These products, used by thousands of users every day, are vital to frictionless processes reliant on golden source data, to enable intelligent use and management of the application/service estate. Foundational Platforms is responsible for driving improvement in the governance processes such as change management and expose the data necessary to capitalise on analytics and automation opportunities.

The Chief Technology Manager in the Foundational Platforms team will lead our technology initiatives for ServiceNow and drive our digital transformation. You will have a demonstrated history of leadership in managing mid to large size global teams and extensive product and engineering knowledge of ServiceNow.

You will be responsible for improving the technological aspects of operations to reduce infrastructure costs, improve functional performance and help deliver Divisional business goals.

Your key responsibilities *Support, lead and inspire a diverse, global team of technology professionals
*Provide strategic leadership and support for the ServiceNow platform that has ambitious long-term plans for growth in a complex multi domain environment
*Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to translate bank strategy into objectives and plans for implementation supporting the delivery of world class technology solutions
*Responsible for building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable alignment and collaboration to define and execute on the ServiceNow teams strategic vision
*Ensuring systems performance and service level requirements are met
*Responsible for maintaining strategic relationships with key IT product and services providers
Your skills and experience *Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role working across large cross-functional teams / in a matrixed environment
*Must have deep technical expertise and implementation experience of ServiceNow solutions across Industry verticals
*Well-developed business and requirements analysis skills, including excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and stakeholder management
*Knowledge of the banking domain and associated end-to-end workflow and processes
*Strong problem-solving & analytical capabilities
*Scrum or SAFe practitioner
