Overview of the Team
We are working in partnership with a client who is building a new Consulting team focused on the Energy and Infrastructure sector, this is part of their business plan to broaden the Risk Consulting Advisory business unit in the UK.
This role involves supporting the growth of both the business and the team and will be open to individuals looking to transition from commercial companies back into advisory or already work in the advisory space.
You will work closely with the Global Infrastructure Finance team, providing advice to clients on various activities, including the development of commercial strategies, investment business cases, governance and risk aspects of infrastructure projects, as well as contract issues and internal audit.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager / Associate Director with an Internal Audit background to join and help shape the team. The successful candidate will act as an Internal Audit subject matter specialist, demonstrating knowledge of the energy, infrastructure, and energy transition sectors.
This role includes delivering current projects while also developing new markets and clients in the energy transition space, including renewable energy, low carbon, and hydrogen sectors.
Key Responsibilities
*Serve as the subject matter specialist in the Energy and Infrastructure sectors.
*Lead client engagements, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
*Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients.
*Deliver internal audit and risk consulting services to energy and infrastructure clients.
*Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service offerings.
*Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes.
*Develop new markets and clients in the energy space.
Key Skills Required
*Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
*Proven experience in internal auditing and risk management.
*Strong knowledge of clients and markets within the Energy sectors.
*Proven ability to lead client engagements and drive business development.
*Clear communicator, both written and verbal, with experience in managing small teams.
