Role Overview:
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with banking/financial services experience to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and improving the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients. This role is set within an Agile Operating Model within Asset Management, focusing on delivering high-quality, secure, and reliable solutions while ensuring compliance with our digital principles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and improve digital products and technology services provided to clients.

* Apply a broad range of software engineering practices to enhance product functionality and efficiency.

* Ensure quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.

* Collaborate with teams to ensure solutions align with organizational standards and strategies.

* Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless delivery of applications and services.

* Leverage and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.

* Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and manage deployments.

* Utilize Kafka for event-driven architecture and messaging systems.

* Apply expertise in Azure and Azure DevOps to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:
* Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer within the financial services sector.

* Proven experience in DevSecOps practices, ensuring security integration into the CI/CD lifecycle.

* Demonstrable expertise in CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like GitLab and Azure DevOps.

* Proficient in C# and .NET Core, with the ability to contribute to application development when required.

* Extensive experience working with Kubernetes for container management and orchestration.

* Knowledge and hands-on experience with Kafka for building scalable, event-driven systems.

* Expertise in infrastructure automation using Terraform.

* Familiarity with Azure cloud services, with a focus on deployment and operational practices.
