The SEI Wealth Platform has a challenging career opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst. This position requires a strong foundation of software development lifecycle knowledge, working experience in projects involving integration between multiple system and experience in an Agile team environment. This position requires extensive business knowledge in the financial services industry. You should be adaptable, possess experience in Wealth Management, and demonstrate the ability to understand financial services business requirements and multiple systems and applications.
What you will do: *Collaborate with internal teams, SMEs, and external stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for integration projects involving multiple systems, workflows, and automation.
*Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand integration needs, including API workflows, file-based processes, and event-driven notifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
*Create and maintain detailed business documentation, including user stories, workflows, functional requirements, and process flows for integration activities such as file ingestion, delivery, API interactions, event listeners, and error reporting.
*Define clear requirements for automated workflows, ensuring they align with business expectations for SLA adherence, accuracy, and reliability.
*Review, analyse, evaluate, and recommend business systems, component applications and user needs.
*Document/communicate key decisions, open issues, case studies, workflow and functional requirements.
*Establish relationships within the internal and external business community.
*Proactively recommend innovations and modifications that follow industry requirements and are consistent with corporate objectives and goals to improve operational processes, systems, policies and procedures.
*Provide business oversight for projects involving workflow automation, ensuring requirements address multi-system integrations, API usage, and file-based processes.
*Define business acceptance criteria for integration solutions, focusing on workflows involving API automation, file loads and deliveries, and event-based triggers.
*Review and approve integration deliverables, ensuring they meet documented business requirements.
*Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring that business requirements for integrations are clearly articulated and prioritized.
*Support scrum masters, product owners and senior level analysts on various projects.
*Review and accept the solution delivered by the Scrum Team. Drives acceptance of the solution amongst the stakeholders
*Drive quality assurance with creation and execution of acceptance tests as needed. Prepares test planning and execution.
*Executes component or integration testing in alignment with sprint delivery cycles.
*Manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring integration-related tasks align with project goals and timelines.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams, acting as a key point of contact for integration-related questions and feedback.
*Ensure clients’ integration needs, including error reporting and notification processes, are effectively addressed.
*All SIEL employees are responsible for the identification, assessment and control of risks and risk events. Employees will maintain a good understanding of applicable policies, procedures, risk appetites and tolerance relevant to their function and or business unit, and are expected to consider current and potential risks when making or informing business decisions. Employees are responsible for the accurate and timely escalation and recording of incidents associated to relevant risks. In addition, employees are responsible for completing all required Risk Management training.
What we need from you: *Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, and/or equivalent, relevant work experience.
*A minimum of 5 years of experience in business domain or background in Business analysis with a focus on integration projects involving multiple systems and automation workflows.
*A minimum of 3 years of experience as BA/QA or product owner working in Agile/scrum framework.
*Proven expertise in managing complex integration workflows, including API-based integrations, file processing, and event-driven designs.
*Ability to work comfortably with a wide range of people and skill sets, including architects, project managers, analysts, architectures/technical leads, and developers.
*Ability to lead/mentor other Business Analysts
*Experience working in Agile environments and managing business requirements for integration-heavy projects.
*Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of the Sprints/PSI’s.
*Strong Process orientation
*Understanding of Agile principals and the ability to learn the foundations of SAFe.

*Familiarity with multi-system integration scenarios, particularly those involving workflow automation, notifications, and SLA management.
