Job Description:
Job Title: Leisure assistant/ Lifeguard
Location: Richmond
We are currently recruiting for Lifeguards for a community focused Leisure Centre in the Richmond area! We are looking for someone with a confident and hands-on approach to take on this role. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Lifeguarding duties, with the ability to work well with customers and ensure their safety in a professional and approachable manner. Duties:
*Pool Safety: Ensure the safety of all pool users by monitoring pool areas and responding to emergencies, as necessary.
*Customer Service: Provide a friendly and professional service to customers, ensuring a positive experience at the facility.
*Facility Maintenance: Help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the pools and other facilities, ensuring everything is properly checked and secure.
*Health & Safety: Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and contribute to a safe and secure environment for all users.
Requirements:
*NPLQ Qualification: Must have a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) – essential for the role.
*Enhanced: DBS is preferred or willing to undergo
*First Aid: A first aid qualification.
*Experience: Prior experience in a lifeguarding.
*Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact well with customers and team members.
Additional Information:
*Starting Salary: £25,998 per annum.
*Working Hours: 36 hours per week, with shift work required.
*Generous 40 day holiday allowance.
