Computing Course Leader (Tutor)
Full time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £27,574 - £34,948 per annum

Who are we looking for?
Burton and South Derbyshire College are looking for a course leader to join their Computing and Emerging Technologies curriculum department to deliver a range of units across Computing, Programming & Cyber Security pathways from Levels 2 to 5.
A degree or equivalent is highly desirable for this role, along with a certificate in education or a willingness to work to achieve this.
Also desirable is knowledge of website development and/or software development, encompassing languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, C++, C#, Java, PHP. Also experience working with or familiarity with AI emerging practices is advantageous.
The role of Course Leader will allow the successful candidate to develop innovative resources that stretch and challenge learners, work in partnership with learner progress coaches to monitor and improve attendance and in turn improve learners’ qualification and employment outcomes.
Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
