Job Description:
This is a permanent Head of People role for a growing hospitality business in London. The role is based in London and focuses on fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee engagement.
Client Details
Our client is a well-established entity in the hospitality sector with a headcount of 250 employees across the UK. They have doubled in size in the last 2 years and continuing to grow extensively. With a strong focus on employee satisfaction and engagement, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop into a Head of People role!
Description
*Managing all HR functions for an employee population of 250 members of staff across 37 stores in the UK
*Ensuring compliance with key government legislation requirements and adherence to human resource policies and procedures.
*Co-ordinating the recruitment within the organisation to meet the business’ needs including leading the recruitment for key roles.
*Assisting the operations teams and head office departments on appraising and assessing individual employees.
*Providing support on employment issues and develop a clear process to monitor and assess employee performance, absences, welfare and disciplinary matters.
*Define the company HR strategy which comprises employee relations, rewards, policies, talent management and employee development programmes.
*Co-ordinating the functions of training: building a standard induction programme which includes all aspects of the role.
*Supervision of HR Officer in managing payroll functions and HR systems data accurately abiding by deadlines and legal guidelines.
*Ensure all administration within the HR department is carried out up to best practice standard.
*Co-ordinate on-boarding / off-boarding processes, visa applications
*Liaising with the external advisors on any complex HR matters.
Profile
*AIdeally CIPD level 3 as a minimum
*At least 5 years’ experience, preferable if gained in the hospitality, retail or FMCG sector
*Hands on comfortable to work in a busy business environment
*Self-starter
*Excellent interpersonal and communication qualities
*Excellent organisation skills
*Computer skills
*High level of numeracy
