Job Description:
A prestigious brand is looking to enhance its supply management team by hiring a Customs Specialist to manage customs and undertake customs analysis.

*Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm with half hour lunch
*Salary guide: £31,000 - £32,000 plus a £1,610 lunch allowance per year
*20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing after 2 years of service

Customs Specialist Responsibilities:
*Analyse customs costs, focusing on identifying duty and tax savings
*Ensure all customs are compliant and in line with HMRC regulations
*Undertake regular process reviews to improve customs processes
*Arrange transport for warehouse orders and prepare all dispatch documents including manifests and invoices
*Follow up on all customs clearance and coordinate with customs agents
*Track and report all costs relating to logistics
*Coordinate with the logistics team to support the reconciliation and processing of invoices
Customs Specialist Skills and Experience:
*Knowledge of customs and an understanding of supply chain principles would be a distinct advantage
*Analytically minded, with the ability to analyse data and produce insightful reports
*Experience in warehouse logistics would be beneficial
*IT literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and logistics IT systems
*Superb communication skills, able to liaise at all levels
*Strong organisation and time management skills
