SEN Primary Teaching Assistant

Job Details - SEN Teaching Assistant:
· SEN Teaching Assistant
· CACHE or NCFE Certificate , or degree - Desirable
· Experience working with SEN children is ideal but a good knowledge of SEN essential
· Ambitions of becoming a Primary Teacher / SALT / Educational Psychologist in the future
· You will be working 1:1 and in small groups with children with SEN
· Must be reliable and adaptable
· Assisting the class teacher, roles in KS1 and KS2
· £90 - £105 per day plus weekly pay
· Full time and long-term role - ASAP start
· Located In the London Borough of Hillingdon
The Head Teacher of a particularly supportive Primary School in the heart of Hillingdon is looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support staff team and work on a 1:1 and small group basis with children who have Autism, and other co - occurring diagnosis.
Your role will involve helping the child to enjoy their learning and be fully involved with the class. Your support will be needed inside and outside of the classroom, including in the playground and in the classroom. You may also be required to run intervention sessions with small groups when more children need support with their work.
The Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team are very supportive and will make sure you are happy and fully supported in your role. You will be joining a very welcoming team of support staff!
