Job Description:
Are you ready to take the next step up in terms of involvement in your EA career? Are you looking to form a true business partnership with your boss: walking in their shoes, untangling and redrawing priorities as this fast moving investment landscape shifts?
A rare opportunity for an EA with investment or innovative tech experience to join one of Europe’s most exciting investors. This is a unique role which will suit a very specific profile, please read the role requirements carefully
You career profile will ideally show that you have thrived in a start-up style, entrepreneurial culture yet also honed your skills in the disciplined environment of a larger instituion. With extensive firm and investment growth happening in France, fluency in business French will be essential for the role.
Key responsibilies:
*Extremely proactive managment of back-to-back business diaries, handling high volume change requests flowing to the Partners externally and internally and constantly managing and rebalancing these against Partner and firm priorities
*Managing expertly constructed international travel itineraries, often multi-leg across Europe and the US with a close eye on maximising efficiency of the Partners’ time (can two potential target companies be met in the same city/week?). Careful management of resulting multi-currency expenses.
*Preparing documents, presenations and reports using G Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides)
*Managment of team workflow including coordinating of investment team meetings, managing follow-ups, actions and any external contact required.
*Upkeep of various contact and project databases and team budgets
*Management of seemlessly curated events with support of events and marketing team (this could include venue research, management of invite lists and RSVPs, preparation of materials, speaker bios, extensive liaising with external suppliers re. AV, catering etc.)
You will need:
*Minimum 5 years+ of Executive Assistant experience gained in an extremely fast-paced setting (banking, investment sector, technology). This is an enviornment where you will face a very high-volume workload - the ability to work at pace and high levels of personal resiliance will be critical
*Written English and French to bilingual standard
*Strong decision-making capability - able to demonstrate deep experience of solving complex scheduling and logistics problems under pressure
*Genuine gravitas and presence - the ability to build relationships and trust quickly is critical in this people-centric business - when did you last take ownership?
*Strong work ethic, high appetite for learning and desire to success - how can you demonstrate that you have pushed yourself out of your comfort zone previously?
