Job Description:
A Level Religious Studies Lecturer *Hourly Rate: £23 - £30 (including holiday pay)
*Location: Telford
*Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (with potential to become Permanent)
A college in Telford is seeking an A Level Religious Studies Lecturer to join their team. The role involves teaching across three days a week, starting in February. This position offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Day-to-day of the role: *Deliver engaging and informative lectures in A Level Religious Studies.
*Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
*Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
*Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
*Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and progress.
*Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
*Stay updated with developments in the subject area and education sector.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
*A recognised Teaching Qualification.
*A qualification related to Religious Studies.
*Proven experience in teaching A Level Religious Studies is highly desirable.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to engage and inspire students.
*Strong organisational and planning skills.
