We are looking for a new team member as a Branch Partnerships Governance and Compliance Manager.
*Working hours: 35 hours / Monday - Friday. Some evening work will be required to attend branch meetings, this can start from 6.00pm/7.00pm and rarely these meetings will finish later than 9.00pm.
*Home based role, you will work remotely from your home. There will be the occasional requirement to travel for team meetings.

At the RSPCA, no two days are ever the same. As a Branch Partnerships Governance and Compliance Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our branch network. What You’ll Do:
*Serve as the go-to expert for governance and compliance for our branch network, offering vital support and guidance to the Branch Partnerships team.
*Act as a first responder for governance-related matters (whether routine or crisis), deciding on resolutions or escalating issues as appropriate.
*Help drive branch network governance initiatives, working closely with the Branch Partnerships team to establish consistent standards and best practice through the branch network.
*Provide tailored governance and compliance support to branches and lead on ensuring critical branch compliance activities are effectively delivered.
*Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Branch Partnership Managers and Operations Support Manager, to identify challenges and implement solutions for long-term branch sustainability.
*Maintain accurate records and reports on branch performance indicators and the Branch Annual Self Assessment.
*Manage the Branch Partnerships Coordinator, supporting their workload and professional development.
*Contribute to department projects and initiatives that further the RSPCA’s mission.

What makes a great Branch Partnerships Governance and Compliance Manager?
A great Branch Partnerships Governance and Compliance Manager will have:
*Demonstrable experience working within the charity sector or in a regulated environment
*Has demonstrable experience working within a governance and compliance role previously
*Experience using Excel or a similar programme and confident with formulas and reporting on these applications
*Strong analytical and reporting skills, able to pull information together and present it at a high level
*Strong attention to detail
*Previous experience supporting the team and being the subject matter expert
*Able to adapt communication style to suit different stakeholder audiences
*Experience of influencing policy/decision makers and of representation committees
*Complaint resolution and reputational management experience.
Desirable:
*Project management experience
*Line management experience.
