Job Description:
Eventus Legal is seeking a Paralegal to join a well-established regional law firm’s Private Client team in Horley, Surrey. The firm is situated in close proximity to Gatwick and is easily commutable from several areas including Redhill, Horsham and Haywards Heath. This is a permanent, full-time job within a reputable law firm who are renowned for providing expert legal services to an impressive client base. Role Responsibilities
The incoming Paralegal will join a leading law firm who specialise in providing expert advice and assistance to their clients. With a commitment to excellence and a client-centric approach, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality service to the Private Client team.
The day-to-day jobs duties within this Paralegal role will include:
*Supporting a senior member of staff with their caseload, managing and responding to client enquiries efficiently and professionally
*Drafting documents such as wills, trusts, LPAs, and estate planning agreements
*Preparing probate applications and associated documents
*Filing and managing submissions to courts or regulatory bodies, including inheritance tax forms and estate accounts
*Maintaining accurate and organised files, ensuring compliance with regulatory procedures
*Scheduling and supporting client meetings, preparing documents and taking notes
*Liaising with other departments or external parties as required
Person Specification
The incoming Paralegal will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role within Private Client, preferably within a reputable law firm or legal department. Also, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*A positive and professional outlook, with a client-focused approach to your work
*Strong team player with excellent collaborative skills
*Outstanding attention to detail
*Strong interpersonal skills, with an understanding of potential client vulnerability
*Ability to work effectively under pressure
