We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mentor to join our team, focusing on the development and support of children aged 4 years up to 19 years old in various educational and care settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mentoring, tutoring, and child care, with a passion for fostering growth and learning in young individuals. This role is essential for guiding children through their developmental milestones while providing emotional and educational support.
Duties
*Provide one-on-one mentoring to children, tailoring approaches to meet individual needs.
*Assist with toddler care, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
*Support children with special educational needs through targeted strategies and interventions.
*Facilitate speech therapy sessions as needed, promoting effective communication skills.
*Engage in tutoring sessions to reinforce learning concepts and enhance academic performance.
*Conduct physical education activities that promote health and well-being.
*Proofread educational materials to ensure clarity and accuracy before distribution.
*Maintain open lines of communication with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress and challenges.
*Collaborate with educators and other professionals to create comprehensive support plans for each child.
Requirements
*Proven experience in mentoring or tutoring children, ideally within preschool or special education settings.
*Strong understanding of toddler care principles and practices.
*Familiarity with speech therapy techniques is highly desirable.
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children and their families.
*Ability to engage children in physical education activities that are both fun and beneficial for their development.
*Experience working with children who have special educational needs is an advantage.
*A nurturing attitude with the ability to motivate and inspire young learners.
*Relevant qualifications in education, child development, or a related field would be beneficial.
