The mission of the Bletchley Park Trust is to attract, engage and educate people from all over the world to inspire them with Bletchley Park’s crucial role in World War Two.
Inspiration, engagement and education are at the core of its activities and the role of Learning Programmes Assistant supports the delivery of a varied formal and informal learning programme.
About the role:
You will be responsible for the development and delivery of an annual programme of activities for families visiting Bletchley Park, inspired by our exhibitions, collections, and historic site. You will assist with the operational delivery of Bletchley Park’s engagement programme for schools and other educational groups, and support the wider Learning Team undertaking content development and administrative duties as required, including the evaluation of activities and programmes.
About you:
Experience of and a passion for organising, developing, teaching and delivering successful formal and informal activities within a museum or heritage environment is essential, as is the ability to work with diverse audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of supervising volunteers is required. You will possess enthusiasm for inspiring curiosity and engagement, and an interest in history, computing, mathematics and digital technology.

Conditions and Benefits:
The salary is £26,000 per annum depending on experience.
This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week, usual office hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am until 5.00pm. Due to the nature of this role, some evening and weekend hours may be required, as well as occasional off-site delivery.
You will be based on site at Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes.
This role requires an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service.
