Job Description:
Locum Commercial Lawyer – Initial 3-Month Contract (Portential to Extend) – Remote Working – Up to £55 per Hour
Location: Remote Working
Duration: Initial 3 months, with strong potential for extension
Hours: Full-Time
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join a Local Authority in the East Midlands on a locum basis.
The Role
As part of a collaborative and dynamic team, you will:
*Provide expert legal advice on UK and EU contract and procurement matters, to include the new Procurement Act 2023.
*Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and documentation for significant projects.
*Handle a diverse and fast-paced caseload while upholding exceptional professional standards.
Key Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
*Minimum 3 years PQE in contracts and procurement law, ideally within a local government setting.
*Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
*Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail in file management and time recording.
Start Date:
