Job Description:
Kenneth Brian Associates are looking for a dynamic and motivated Office Manager to deliver exceptional administrative support while collaborating closely with the Business Manager for local school. This role plays a critical part in driving the school’s operational goals and strategic vision. You’ll lead the administrative team, ensuring smooth office operations and delivering outstanding front-line customer service to families and visitors.
36 hrs per week, 40 weeks per year Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee and manage office budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.
*Handle financial processes, including budgeting, invoicing, and expense management.
*Proactively manage schedules, meetings, and organise office events.
*Streamline office systems and workflows, coordinate equipment orders, and plan events.
*Deliver administrative support across all areas of the organisation.
*Maintain general office duties such as ordering supplies, ensuring a tidy workspace, scanning, and filing.
*Oversee HR functions, including staff leave management, absence tracking, and issuing contracts to new hires.
*Serve as the primary contact for clients, suppliers, and employees.
Key Requirements:

*Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
*Demonstrated ability to prioritise, plan, and manage deadlines effectively.
*Experience with data management and information systems.
*Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
*Capable of maintaining an organised work environment while adapting to changing priorities.
*Familiarity with school software such as Arbor is an advantage.
*Experience using social media in a professional capacity.
*Proficiency in administrative tasks and advanced ICT skills, including MS Office Suite.
*Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C),
