Job Description:
Mac Engineer - 12 month contract - Umbrella engagement only - London Hybrid
Are you a Mac Engineer looking for your next project? I have an immediate 12 month contract with our Fintech client in London, looking for some additional support as part of their global Desktop Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide expert support for Mac desktops and laptops.
*Manage and administer JAMF, ensuring smooth operation and compliance.
*Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
*Act as 3rd line escalation point and troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
*Work closely with team members and communicate technical information clearly.
I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have:
*Proven background working in a similar role supporting Mac systems.
*In-depth knowledge of Mac OS and Windows operating systems.
*Hands-on experience with JAMF administration and management.
*JAMF 300 certification is a plus; successful candidates must obtain this within the first 3 months if not already certified.
*Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
*Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
*Relevant certifications such as Apple Certified Support Professional or JAMF Certified are highly desirable.
