Your new company
Your new job working as a Commercial Account Handler will be based in Watford for an Independent Lloyd’s Broker who have their head office based in the City. Your new Brokers employ over 300 staff around the UK. They have grown rapidly in the last 20 years to become one of the top independent brokers in the UK dealing with over 16,000+ clients. Having completed numerous successful acquisitions, the company has secured further funding to continue its ambitious growth plans They hold Chartered Insurance Broker status, awarded in recognition of their commitment to maintaining highest standards in many areas. Due to growth within their Commercial division, a permanent role for a Commercial Account Handler has arisen.
Your new role
In your new job working as a commercial Account handler means you play a crucial role in providing a comprehensive insurance service to both existing and potential clients by fostering strong client relationships, driving retention and supporting operational excellence. Processing new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations and existing quotations accurately, delivering valuable advice to clients by responding promptly and professionally. Working closely with Account Executives, you will ensure client needs are met efficiently while maintaining high standard of accuracy. Other duties will include providing valuable assistance during client visits as well as all supporting less experienced team members and preparing documentation using Acturis and other systems.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have experience in working as a Commercial Account Handler dealing with Commercial Combined, Property Owners and Liabilities and can travel to Watford. Extensive experience in Commercial Insurance, covering New Business, Renewals, and MTA’s. Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills, particularly in phone communication. Experience of Acturis would be beneficial.
