About the Safeguarding Team:
The Safeguarding Team plays a vital role in protecting children and young people at risk of harm. As a Social Worker in this team, you will:
*Manage complex cases, ensuring children are safeguarded and their welfare is promoted.
*Develop and implement child protection plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies.
*Work effectively within legal frameworks to achieve the best outcomes.
*Provide timely interventions to prevent harm and improve lives.
*Attend court proceedings and prepare comprehensive reports when necessary.
*What You Bring:
*To excel in this role, you’ll need:
*A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified Social Worker.
*Current Social Care England registration.
*Solid understanding of safeguarding procedures, child protection legislation, and best practices.
*Strong communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
