Salary: £42 per hour (£1,575 per week before tax = £6,300 per month before tax, £75,600 per annum equivalent)
Job Description:
Trident Healthacre are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Pharmacy Manager to join our clients team at a private hospital in Leicester. This is a full-time contract position for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have a background in oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department.
*Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, ensuring high standards of practice.
*Provide clinical pharmacy services
*Ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
*Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
*Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
*Conduct medication reviews and manage inventory.
*Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures.
Requirements:
*Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
*Proven experience as a Pharmacy Manager, preferably in a hospital setting.
*Oncology experience or background is highly desirable.
*Strong leadership and management skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
*Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
