Are you a passionate and nurturing Teaching Assistant looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We’re working on behalf of a vibrant primary school situated in the heart of Lewisham, and they’re seeking a dedicated professional to join their supportive team starting in January 2025.
About the Role:
*Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
*Start Date: January 2025
*Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
This rewarding role involves working closely with children who have a range of needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, and SEMH. You’ll play a key part in supporting their learning journey, providing emotional support, and helping them thrive in a positive and engaging environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for someone who is:
*Nurturing and patient, with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.
*Engaging and creative, finding ways to inspire and motivate children in their learning.
*Knowledgeable in SEND support, ideally with experience or qualifications in working with children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs.
*A team player, eager to collaborate with colleagues, families, and specialists to provide the best care for our students.
