Job Description:
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join their fast-paced logistics team based in Northamptonshire. If you’re passionate about the world of shipping and want to be part of a global operation, this could be the perfect role for you!
Tasks and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
*Shipment of finished goods, raw materials and other consumables.
*Completion of Dangerous Goods paperwork for all modes of transport and destinations
*Ensure goods are picked, documented, booked for collection with the haulier and delivered per the Sales order.
*Management of 3PL shipments though the relevant channels according to the hauler.
*Ensuring requirements defined to comply with ADR/IATA/customs/legal/customer and company SOPs are observed.
*Supporting to CS & Sales US with progression of orders and resolve customs and shipping queries.
*Ensuring returns are approved/processed correctly.
*Review OTIF performance using PowerBI.
*Maintain qualification to IATA/IMDG requirements.
*Check back or lines daily and release, pick sheets and labels for Despatch, shipping pack for Geodis/3PL logistics providers.
*Check stock is available (vs SS and demand on BX).
*Managing Encap.
Skills Required:
*IMDG/IATA trained.
*Relevant experience in shipping dangerous goods, logistics and/or production flow.
*Have strong skills in Microsoft Office and ability to work with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
*Self-motivated with positive attitude, willingness to learn and develop.
*Desire to find solutions to challenges, seeking support from colleagues.
*Able to work independently and as team player.
*Willing to adapt to the needs of the team, throughout different areas.
*Exhibit excellent communication skills, being clear in sharing information, even in difficult situations.
*Attention to detail.
*Good time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
*Ability to multitask, even under pressure.
**Own vehicle is a must due to location**
