About the Role
As an M&A Lead Advisory Professional, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the complexities of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. You will leverage your Financial Services sector knowledge and advisory skills to identify opportunities, structure deals, and deliver outstanding outcomes for acquisative PE and Corporate clients in this space.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead M&A transactions across the deal lifecycle, from origination to execution.
*Advise clients on strategic options, deal structures, and valuation approaches, ensuring optimal outcomes.
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
*Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving growth in the insurance and wealth management sectors.
*Manage cross-functional deal teams, coordinating due diligence, financial analysis, and legal negotiations.
*Provide thought leadership on market trends and opportunities in the Financial Services sector.
Key Skills and Experience
We are seeking a high-calibre candidate with:
*Sector Expertise:
o Extensive experience advising on M&A transactions within Financial Services, including FinTech, Wealth Management, Insurance and Specialist Finance.
o Strong understanding of industry trends, regulatory environments, and market dynamics.
*M&A Expertise:
o Proven track record of originating, structuring, and closing complex transactions.
o Deep knowledge of valuation techniques, due diligence, and deal structuring.
*Client Management Skills:
o Exceptional ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives and investors.
o Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
*Professional Background:
o Experience at a leading Corporate Finance advisory firm, investment bank, or Big 4 M&A practice.
o Professional qualifications such as ACA, CFA, or MBA are highly desirable.
