Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Project Designer to join a fantastic growing family run Manufacturing business in Coventry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring that all specifications and requirements are met. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, proficiency in design software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Salary: £50,000 p.a. plus benefits including early finish Fridays!

Duties
*Develop detailed design specifications and project plans using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
*Conduct data analysis to inform design decisions and optimise project outcomes.
*Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet technical requirements and project timelines.
*Implement systems engineering principles throughout the project lifecycle.
*Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot design issues and improve processes.
*Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
*Prepare documentation for design reviews, including presentations and reports.
Requirements
*Minimum of 5+ years experience in a Project / Design role within Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, R&D etc.
*Experience in mentoring or supervising a small team.
*Excellent Communication & I.T Skills.
