Job Description:
We are seeking a Weighbridge Operative for our client based in Robertsbridge
Location: Robertsbridge (East Sussex)
Employment Type: Temporary (shift pattern consisting of days and nights)
Salary: £11.44phr
Key Responsibilities:
*Operate the weighbridge to weigh vehicles accurately as they enter and exit the site
*Record weights in a computerised system, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with site policies.
*Verify load details with drivers, checking for correct documentation and reporting discrepancies.
*Input data into systems, including vehicle information, materials weighed, and customer details.
*Maintain accurate records for reporting, audit, and billing purposes.
*Communicate effectively with drivers regarding site procedures, safety regulations, and load requirements.
*Address any queries or issues from drivers or customers in a professional manner.
*Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
*Report any safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, or non-compliance incidents to management.
*Monitor site traffic to ensure safe and orderly flow of vehicles.
About You:
Previous experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.
You must have a good eye for detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management.
