Clark Wood is excited to partner with a leading accounting firm based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire as they seek a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their expanding team.
As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in the Business services team, producing accounts and tax returns , being a key client contact for a number of owner managed business’s and small to medium enterprises and become proficient with cloud based software.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements for companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as completing the corporation tax returns
Completion of personal tax returns for directors, sole traders and rental accounts
Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
Utilise Excel and IT packages such as Xero, Sage and Quickbooks

Requirements:
AAT or ACCA qualifications are preferred, but we encourage applications from experienced individuals who have chosen not to pursue formal studies.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
