The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share by identifying, developing, and maintaining strong business relationships with new and existing clients. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, ideally within the refrigeration, commercial equipment, or related industries, and will bring energy and innovation to the role.
Description
* Strategic Growth Initiatives
*Identify and assess new market opportunities, industry trends, and customer needs to develop tailored business strategies.
*Develop and execute a business development plan to meet and exceed sales targets.

* Sales and Client Relationship Management
*Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, distributors, and partners.
*Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new contracts and grow revenue streams.
*Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing.

* Market Research and Competitor Analysis
*Conduct detailed market analysis to understand industry trends, customer demands, and competitor activities.
*Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

* Collaboration and Teamwork
*Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, and customer support) to align on business objectives and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
*Work closely with sales teams to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

* Performance Reporting
*Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance reviews for senior management.
*Use CRM tools and systems to track progress and ensure seamless communication across the organisation.

Profile
*3-5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the refrigeration or commercial equipment sector.
*Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and data.
*Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
*Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
