We are currently recruiting for Financial Controller to join a market leading business based in Ipswich.

You will be working closely with the Finance Director and other senior stakeholders, so will offer fantastic exposure across the wider business.

Responsibilities include:
*Delivery of the month-end close process
*Preparation of annual budgets
*Processing and managing quarterly VAT returns
*Managing the year-end annual accounts process including the completion of any audit requirements
*Providing commentary and reports on the month-end/half-year/annual accounts for both internal and external stakeholders
*Developing, documenting, and improving business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
*Processing and managing monthly payroll, including pension payments

Key skills
*You will be a Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with relevant experience
*Experience working in a SME with exponential planned growth
*Experience leading and developing a team
*Must be a team player and willing to provide support where needed
*Exposure of working in a PE backed business
