Job Description:
Autism Teaching Assistant
If you are an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with proven abilities to engage young learners with Autism, then my client school wants to hear from you today!
Clarus Education is working with the Head Teacher of a warm, welcoming & supportive Primary School in Hounslow who are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support several children in EYFS and KS1. There are also roles available in KS2. This is a mainstream Primary School with an on-site SEN resource provision for children with ASD/ ASC.
The Head is keen to meet with candidates who are adaptable, hardworking & and willing to put in 110% daily to fill several full time & long-term roles.
The ideal candidate with have a solid understanding of the EYFS framework, and SEN and be able to hit the ground running!
Details - Autism Teaching Assistant:
· Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Autism Focus
· Full time, Mon-Fri, term time only
· £90 - £100 per day
· Full time, long term
· Term time only - September to July
· Providing 1:1 & small group support for children in Reception (aged 4-5), there are also roles available in KS2
· Working across the ARP & mainstream classrooms
· Liaising with the SENCo, SALT, and other outside agencies
· Perfect role for an aspiring Educational/ Child Psychologist or Speech & Language Therapist!
· Primary School based in Hounslow
