Job Description:
Fire and Security Installation Engineer, with a Fire bias, to deliver high quality maintenance contracts to a range of commercial clients.
Experience required
*Knowledge of, and training in, fire protection systems
*Knowledge of, and training in, security systems including Paxton, Honeywell, Texecom, Bosch, Hikvision (desirable).
*Track record of installation, commissioning and repair of intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and audio and door entry systems; including service visits.
*Proven delivery across the project life cycle to manage scope of works, drawings, installations, test and commissioning, and client handover.
*Ability to produce high quality commissioning and handover documentation to meet quality and client satisfaction standards.
*Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, engineers, management team and ARC
Candidate requirements
*Qualified to NVQ Level 3 Fire emergency and security systems or equivalent.
*Qualified to 18th Edition and possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, C&G 2391 or equivalent.
*5 years min experience incl. adhering to British, NSI (NACOSS), and BAFE standards.
*Valid ECS Card, IPAF and PASMA are preferred but not essential.
*Working at heights.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Clean disclosure - vetting to BS7858 standard.
*Able work within Health and Safety regulations.
*Flexible with regarding to working hours, willingness to travel with rare stays away.
