Job Description:
The City & Capital team are currently representing a highly respected & fast-growing Bridging and Buy-to-Let property finance lender who have retained our services to appoint a motivated and diligent Project Manager to the team at an exciting time.
Our client is extremely well-funded, with increased investment driving a new round of growth, set to take the business to the next level. Due to this, they are keen to strengthen their Change team with the appointment of a Project Manager who will lead and deliver a variety of high-impact projects.
The Project Manager role is a vital position within the Change team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from inception through to BAU, ensuring that all deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet stakeholder expectations.
Given the close-knit nature of the team, the Project Manager will perform multiple roles, including hands-on delivery of work packages, project management, and collaboration with third-party providers. Our client employs both agile and waterfall methodologies depending on the requirements of the project.
More important than experience with specific methodologies are the interpersonal skills needed to motivate, lead, and convey a passion for change across the organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, bridging the gap between the Change team and BAU functions.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a variety of impactful projects, ranging from platform implementations to IT infrastructure upgrades and the launch of innovative products, all while working to improve systems and processes across the organization.
Duties of the role include:
* End-to-end management of projects, including matrix managing everyone involved in the projects.
* Ensuring projects run to time and budget, with clear communication about any issues or risks that arise.
* Securing stakeholder approvals before initiating changes and keeping them informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
* Managing smooth transitions from project delivery to live operations, while building strong relationships with BAU functions.
* Developing business requirements, documenting processes, and leading end-user training as needed.
* Promoting a culture of meaningful and well-prioritized change that adds value to the business.
* Managing relationships with third-party providers, ensuring their deliverables are thoroughly tested, fit for purpose, and seamlessly handed over to BAU.
* Overseeing testing, managing fixes, and ensuring all changes are enthusiastically embraced by end users.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have proven experience in Financial Services Project Management, ideally with exposure to the property finance sector.
* Possess a strategic mindset, with the ability to envision and articulate future systems and processes.
* Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, building strong relationships with end users and stakeholders.
* Be empathetic, supportive, and passionate about delivering meaningful change.
* Demonstrate outstanding attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.
Our client is looking to offer a competitive salary of c£60k for the ideal individual, with higher offers considered for exceptional experience. The package is complemented by access to our client’s attractive benefits and bonus scheme, further enhancing year-on-year earnings potential.
This role also comes with excellent opportunities for career progression. Our client is renowned for their strong promote-from-within policy, allowing successful candidates to further propel their careers and salaries as they demonstrate results.
The client is keen to make this appointment quickly in line with business demand. Therefore, if this opportunity aligns with your skills and ambitions, we invite you to submit your application promptly. Once reviewed, we will provide an update on the next steps.
