Job Title: AWS Data Engineer
Location: Leeds (hybrid 3 days a week)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer to support our marketplace product and contribute their skills to other customers and projects as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and AWS experience, with a background in accountancy or financial data processing.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop and optimise SQL queries for reporting and data analysis.
*Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS tools.
*Support data processing tasks related to accountancy, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
*Ensure data quality, integrity, and efficient flows across the marketplace platform.
*Assist in the development of reports and dashboards to enhance data visibility.
Essential Skills
*Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
*Experience with AWS services.
*Strong understanding of financial or accountancy processes and data.
*Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration.
*Experience or understanding of building reports and dashboards.
*Basic knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript, particularly useful for integrations.
Desirable Skills
*Advanced problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
*Familiarity with additional programming languages or data tools.
*Experience in handling large datasets and performance tuning.
