Job Title: Project Manager
Duration: 6 months, extensions likely
Location: Warwick (once to twice per week requirement in the office)
Salary: £500 - £550 per day via Umbrella

As an integral part of their Resilience and Emergency Management (R&EM) team, you will play a key role in coordinating and analysing system resilience across electricity and gas, providing expert advice and information to government and regulators. You will be responsible for managing projects and stakeholder engagement, ensuring strong coordination and successful delivery of outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
*Lead and manage key projects linked to R&EM team’s deliverables, collaborating with analytical and technical teams to drive improvements across the organisation.
*Maintain consistent, high-quality outputs and publications to capture valuable insights and enhance GB resilience.
*Act as the main point of contact for queries and requests for information from government, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
*Support other Project Managers and Operational Leaders in project formulation and planning.
*Monitor project performance, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues as they arise.
Requirements:
*Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while adhering to project management methodology.
*Strong stakeholder management experience, both internally and externally.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
*Proven ability to simplify complex ideas, issues, and observations into clear and concise explanations.
*Confidence to challenge and push leadership during critical thinking opportunities.
*Knowledge of the energy industry’s structure, regulatory environment, and future challenges is advantageous.
