Job Title: Employment Law Paralegal
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role
Douglas Scott are working with a leading national law firm who are seeking an experienced Employment Law Paralegal to join their Leeds office. This is an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic Employment team, handling both contentious and non-contentious matters for a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, professionals, and corporate entities like the Police Federation of England & Wales.
Key Responsibilities
*Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and procedural documents.
*Assisting with Employment Tribunal case preparation, including bundles, statements, and liaising with Counsel.
*Conducting legal research and managing a caseload of non-complex matters.
*Providing initial advice, liaising with clients, and maintaining strong client relationships.
*Supporting business development initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
*Minimum 1 year of experience as an employment law paralegal.
*Strong knowledge of employment law and tribunal processes.
*Excellent drafting, research, and client communication skills.
*Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*A legal qualification (LLB, LLM, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
