Our client is a specialist hedge fund, HQ’d in London. After recent good performance and the recent launch of new funds, they are now looking to add a Compliance Manager to their existing team in London.
Reporting into the Chief Compliance Officer, the Compliance Manager will be expected to perform a broad generalised compliance role, with an emphasis on Surveillance tasks.
Duties will include:
*Surveillance monitoring for best execution, market abuse and market manipulation
*Monitoring the firms shareholder disclosures responsibilities
*Develop and maintain the compliance monitoring programme
*Provide regulatory advice to senior stakeholders
*Conduct thematic reviews
*Maintain, update and implement compliance policies and procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
*5-7+ years compliance experience, ideally within a hedge fund or investment manager
*Strong understanding of surveillance, ideally within equities
*Generalist compliance experience
