*Housing HR Lead
*Public Sector - Local Government
*Temporary role - 3 to 6 months
*Full Time - Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
*£425 per day Umbrella inside IR35
*IT equipment provided
*ASAP Start - January 2025
Are you a talented HR professional with experience in managing large-scale restructures in the public sector? Our client, a local authority, is seeking a Housing HR Lead to support their restructure. You’ll play a crucial role in developing and implementing action plans, communicating changes, and providing expert advice to ensure the successful delivery of their tenancy management and repairs restructuring project.
As the Housing HR Lead, your responsibilities will include:
*Drafting reports, consultation documents, and job descriptions
*Supporting with consultation meetings and accurate record keeping
*Attending union meetings and completing job matching exercises
*Creating and implementing action plans to address challenges, including managing absence and supporting with Occupational Health referrals
*Coaching managers in addressing difficulties
*Delivering comprehensive and integrated HR consultancy to enable the service to meet its strategic objectives
*Maintaining excellent stakeholder management and supporting the Director of Housing Management
This is a temporary position for a maximum of six months, covering the entire restructure process from consultation to implementation and post-implementation support. If you have a passion for HR, experience working with unions, and the ability to navigate complex projects, we would love to hear from you.
Key skills required:
*Large-scale restructures in the public sector
*Working collaboratively with unions
*Excellent report drafting and record-keeping abilities
*Strong communication skills
*Action planning and problem-solving
*Experience of tenancy management is desired
