Loss Adjuster - Core Claims
The role of the Loss Adjuster is to efficiently investigate and handle a variety of predominantly Third-party property impact damage claims, although experience of property damage claims would be beneficial, this is not essential as all claims handling experience holds transferable skills which can be applied to the role.
This role is to join our existing team, ensuring claims are investigated and handled on a proactive basis in accordance with the company and each client’s claims handling philosophy and the governing Civil Procedure Rules.
This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate working as key part of our dedicated team providing a first-class proactive claims handling service to major clients.

Key Responsibilities: *Investigation of allocated claims from the desk, with occasional site visits a possibility.
*Compilation of all necessary evidence and relevant documentation
*Preparation of Preliminary Reports detailing the evidence available and commenting upon Policy Indemnity, Legal Liability, Quantum, and Tactics
*Determine appropriate action for resolution of the case.
*Defend or negotiate settlement where appropriate, within agreed authority limits.
*Correspond with all parties professionally to proactively progress the case to conclusion.
*Investigate and handle all cases in accordance with the client’s requirements by referral to documented procedures at all times.
*Maintain a proper reserve at all times by regular review.
*Keep updated on any technical changes relevant to your role including participating in training programmes facilitated by the company
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
An insurance professional who will have experience working in the insurance industry and/or legal sector in a Claims handling role, or a Law graduate seeking a fresh challenge and who is ambitious and can demonstrate an ability to develop the skills and knowledge needed.
This role is Home Based with occasional onsite attendance (on site or London office) required at times.
