HR/Payroll Advisor

The Role:
HR Operations delivers high quality value-added services for M&G Plc. This role is an integral part of the Payroll Team. The HR/Payroll Advisor will join a supportive and collaborative team to deliver a variety of payroll activities and respond to employee pay queries.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
*To provide accurate and timely Payroll Processing for In House UK Payroll
*To participate in key BAU and Project runway activity within UK Payroll Team
*Support on Annual and ad-hoc Audit activity
*Help ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations
*Provide support and guidance to colleagues on payroll related matters and queries
*Keep up to date with Payroll / HR related regulations
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*Eagerness to learn and grow in Payroll and HR functions
*Working knowledge of IT Programmes including MS Word and MS Excel
*Attention to Detail required with proven numerical skills
*Ability to connect, build rapport and deliver an excellent service
*Excellence in Execution by proactively seeking ways to improve personal and organisational effectiveness to meet current and future business needs
Qualifications:
*No direct payroll experience necessary but previous related experience in an HR / Payroll environment would be advantageous
*Strong interest in pursuing a career in HR / Payroll environment
