Are you a seasoned Financial Administrator seeking a dynamic role that offers career progression, hybrid working, and study support?
Our client, a renowned boutique financial services firm based in Kent, is celebrated for its personalised approach to financial planning. With a strong reputation for promotion and mentorship, they are now seeking a Financial Administrator to join their team. The firm offers a comprehensive suite of services, including investment management, pension planning, protection planning, and discretionary investment management, all carefully tailored to address the unique needs of their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
*Effectively handle queries from clients and other parties, ensuring accurate and appropriate communication.
*Communicate with clients via telephone, taking and acting on verbal instructions, and promptly referring to relevant departments if necessary.
*Arrange meetings for financial advisers.
*Create and maintain accurate client records in compliance with company policies and procedures.
*Liaise with product providers and other third parties.
Qualifications:
*Ideally educated to at least A-Level or equivalent, including GCSE Maths and English at grade B or Grade 5.
*At least 3-5 years of experience in a financial services role. Experience with Intelligent Office (IO) is advantageous.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong understanding of the financial planning process and products.
Skills & Abilities:
*Ability to work within defined business processes and achieve agreed outcomes without supervision.
*Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, with the ability to prioritise and plan workload effectively.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, they will be proactive, motivated, and hardworking, demonstrating a strong people-cantered approach. Professional integrity is essential, as the role requires the ability to empathise with customers while clearly explaining professional points.
