As we expand our footprint, we are looking for a talented and qualified Finance Business Partner to support our growing operations across multiple entities.
The Role
As a Finance Business Partner, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and decision-making across the organisation. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple business entities to provide insightful analysis, support strategic initiatives, and ensure robust financial management. This is a high-impact role for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities *Financial Planning and Analysis
*Develop and oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
*Provide actionable insights to business leaders to drive performance and profitability.
*Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
*Stakeholder Collaboration
*Act as a trusted advisor to department heads, ensuring alignment of financial goals with business objectives.
*Partner with operational teams across multiple entities to support decision-making and improve financial outcomes.
*Strategic Initiatives
*Support M&A activities, including due diligence, integration, and financial modelling.
*Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations.
*Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s strategic growth plans.
Qualifications and Skills *Essential:
*A recognized finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
*Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar role within a software, technology or engineering environment.
*Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
*Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
*Desirable:
*Experience working in a multi-entity, international environment.
*Familiarity with software/technology business models, including SaaS metrics.
*Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
*Personal Attributes:
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
