Audit and Accounts Manager
Exeter
Full time - Permanent
Hybrid working (2 days home / 3 days office)
Salary is dependent on experience
We are currently recruiting for an Audit and Accounts Manager to join our client based in their Exeter branch.
What you’ll be doing:
*Assist the Senior Management team and Directors in delivery of statutory audit and accounts preparation
*50% Audit / 50% Accounts including Charity and Not for Profit Sector
*Management and delivery of audit / accounts assignments
*Oversight of workflow and management of team
*Taking lead role on audit assignments from planning to completion
*Review audit files ahead of Director review
*Reviewing and preparing draft corporation tax and business tax computations including support analysis
*Preparation of statutory accounts from client trial balance
*Delivering information and communicating with clients in a timely and effective manner
*Assisting with senior management team / Partners
*Building and sustaining key relationships with clients
*Ad-hoc project work
About You:
*ACA / ACCA qualification with practice experience
*Experience as a manager or overseeing a small team
*Able to multitask and prioritise
*Work under pressure to tight and conflicting deadlines
*Experience managing audit assignments
*Commercial awareness
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
*Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting
*Excellent verbal and written communication
*Experience using IRIS and My Work Papers (desirable)
