Job Description:
We are working on a Brand and Communications Manager role with a prestigious corporate finance and investment bank. This role is based in the city of London and operates a hybrid model. This is a new role within a small but growing communications team.
Client Details
The business are a corporate finance and investment bank who operate on a global scale. They are looking to hire a Brand and Communications Manager into their team. This role will report to the Director of Communications and will collaborate closely with the wider team.
Description
Key responsibilities of the Brand and Communications Manager:
*Support in the delivery of content generation for all internal and external channels spanning business focused and DEI/Culture supporting both External Communications and Internal Communications Co-ordination. Research and develop story ideas and write from scratch: Social media content management, commentary and thought leadership pieces making sure they are written and delivered to internal and external deadlines.
*Help to ensure a steady stream of social media content, managing the content calendar for EMEA
*Planning and managing the delivery of photo and video content in support of content and external communications
*Maintenance of intranet
*Upkeep and development of digital messaging platform.
*Assist in the delivery of Communications support of Human Resources, Inclusion Networks and charity partner initiatives
*Support in the delivery of values and culture initiatives
*Support to creative services such as invitations, banners etc.
*Create the Comms and Brand quarterly dashboard
*Ad hoc requests from the business / projects by exception
Profile
The successful candidate:
*Good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop productive relationships across the organisation including with bankers and traders; to be able to tailor approach to individuals to get the best output. To have the ability to question and negotiate.
*Keen to take responsibility and ownership for work along with an entrepreneurial spirit; being well organised and work autonomously.
*Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
*Strong track record as an implementer with a can-do attitude who thrives on managing a number of key initiatives at the same time and a proven experience in delivering projects.
*Proficient use of video and camera equipment, Adobe Premier Pro, InDesign and Photoshop with a flair for design and brand
*Self-starter - able to work independently, enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives, but is also a strong collaborator across all groups.
*Ideally in an in-house communications role covering areas of internal communications platforms, content management systems, specifically SharePoint.
*Financal services experience required
