We are looking for a number of Forklift Operative’s
The role is working within a dynamic and busy warehouse environment alongside the client’s airline partners, ensuring their cargo is delivered safely and securely around the world!
Location: Feltham /Heathrow
Shifts: You will be required to work a shift pattern consisting of 4 on 4 off. This will be a mixture of days and nights in the following format:
Hours: 07:00 - 19:00 (2 days) / 19:00 - 07:00 (2 nights)
Salary: £26,500 - £28,500
Bonus: 1200 Attendance Bonus paid end of the year
Duties and Responsibilities of a Forklift Operative:
*Loading and unloading vehicles carrying a variety of cargo using a forklift truck and other mechanical equipment, as well as performing some manual handling.
*You will be expected to use hand-held devices to locate and identify cargo.
*Process paperwork in accordance with our clients’ requirements.
*Handling special cargo products
*Building and breaking pallets
*Manual handling
*Screening cargo
*Preparing and palletizing cargo as needed.
Skills required to be a Forklift Operative:
*Forklift Licence (counterbalance or reach) is essential.
*Promote Health & Safety to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
*Able to travel to Feltham and Heathrow
*Previous warehouse experience is essential.
*We will need to be able to complete Pre-employment checks. This will include a 5-year checkable employment / education history, DBS check (criminal record check)
